A lot of websites online have this problem, they
get some traffic, after a while it trickles down to nothing, they
get some more, after a while it too also trickles down to nothing and
they keep on repeating the process.

consistent targeted traffic on your website, your traffic will keep
on trickling down to nothing if you don’t do something about it, you

want next and be the first to give them before anyone else and/or

any other list in the niche, to retain them.
New/Unique Products/Services
Plan the products/services you’ll promote for the next one year at
least, you’ll need new/unique products/services to sell to your
visitors, subscribers and customers for as long as you wish to sell
in your niche, if they know they’re likely to get new/unique
products/services they’ll want from you, they’ll stay on your list
and/or come back again to your website.
Unique Content
You can write/create lots of content in your niche for as long as
you wish to sell, if you write unique content on your website and
opt-in list, your visitors, subscribers and customers will come back
to your website or stay on your list knowing they can’t get such
content elsewhere.
Tracking
You can’t do without tracking your promotional activities else you
won’t know what to do next.
Without tracking, you won’t be able to know the best targeted ad
media to concentrate on in your business that give you traffic,
hence you’ll need to track whatever promotion you do, to know where
your traffic are coming from and how best to retain them.
