Your lack of sales may be coming from different angles, it may be from the niche, target or product/service you sell, or the ad media you use or the ads, content and free giveaways you’re using to promote your offers or as a result of no traffic. It may also be from your lack of understanding of online marketing and niche marketing. You’ll need to check through each one of these to know what is responsible for your lack of sales.
If you’re just selling a product/service because it’ll make you money or because someone is making so much money with it, you may run into problems making the sale.
For your targets to buy any product/service from/through you, it must meet their needs/wants and/or solve their problems, you’ll need to know that the product/service you sell will do exactly that, before you promote it for sales, else it may not give you the results you want or expect to get from it.
If someone else is making the sale with a product/service, it does not mean that the product/service is good enough for your targets, because your targets will buy anything that looks like what they want or that looks like it’ll give them what they want, hence you have to research your niche, know what problems they have in the niche, know what others are giving them, know what products/services that should be sold to your targets etc. After that you can then select the products and services to sell in your chosen niche, that is how and why you’ll make money, not just because someone else is making money with a product/service.
Once a product/service fails to deliver on its promises irrespective of the amount of money that has been made from it, people will be more resistant to buying similar products/services like it in the nearest future and will also discourage others from buying too, especially from whoever sold that first product/service to them.
You cannot afford to sell a wrong product/service to your niche, you may lose your credibility as a result and your targets will not have any confidence or trust in whatever you recommend for them to buy, so do your research well enough to sell the right products/services to your targets.
