Your targets have got to see you as someone out to help them get what they want not just a slick salesman after their money or else you may not make much money.
You give your targets the help they want by creating/finding content, products and services that actually solve their problems for real in the niche, not just products/services you sell or content you create or find just because you want to make money. And if you provide content that resolved most of the issues they have, you’ll be looked upon as an expert.
Yes, sales copies are good, but you have to show your targets that you are more than a convincing tongue or paper and ink, to earn their trust. They must know you are there to provide a solution to the problems they’ll have in the niche, and this is why they will contact you first before your competitors when they have an issue to resolve.
Once your targets see you as an expert and/or a solution provider on anything, whatever you recommend is what they’ll buy, they will even ask you for products/services you never thought of selling in the first place, thereby creating more money for you.
You do need products and services to sell on the internet to be successful, but you have to ensure that every product or service you sell or recommend to your targets are exactly what they need, to get want they want, do not promote a product or service just because of the monetary value alone, you want your targets to trust you enough to buy from/through you again and again, and trust you they will if you put yourself in their shoes and give them only products and services that are worth paying for in the first place, that meet their needs/wants.
And as much as possible write articles, ebooks, ecourses etc that resolves targets problems in your chosen niche too, these will go a long way in converting more visitors/prospects to sales for you, it’ll help you to gain “the expert” status, someone people turn to when they need anything
