Why Not Sell What People Are Buying?


People will buy what they want to buy not what you think they should buy, you can’t force it!

If you start your selling online with what you think your targets should buy and not what you know they want (after a proper research) you are likely to struggle to make money on the internet.

You can know what people are buying online by checking on keyword search terms performed at the search engines (you may use these keyword research tools https://Adwords.Google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal at Google.com and http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/search.html at KeywordDiscovery.com), website/store already selling online in your chosen niche (to know what they are selling), and even conduct surveys to know exactly what your targets want in the niches and countries you’ll sell to.

Another aspect to this is selling a new product/service that is not already in existence.

There is a risk involved in selling a new product/service no one has ever bought before because you’ll have to spend your money and time to promote it first before you know if it’ll sell and/or if it’ll be profitable. This does not mean you should not sell new products that are not in existence already, that is what innovation is all about, but if you’re just starting out you can sell a product/service that is already selling which will only need you to either add a better value, make it faster, get it to where it has not reached yet etc, to sell for you, you know people are already buying it so the probability of you making the sale with its new added value is high.

There’ll be some differences and similarities between what people buy in different countries in the same niche, your job is to find what those are and to sell only what will make the sale in each country and niche you’ve chosen to sell to.
