Why It’s Taking So Long For You To Get Traffic
If you want fast traffic PPC
(Adwords etc) is the way to go, but it will cost you! If you are using
free methods of getting traffic it may take you a while, a very long
while to get traffic. The problem with PPC is that you may not make
back your money as fast as you are spending it and that can become a
very big problem, so most online marketers opt for free traffic or a
combination of both, free traffic and PPC traffic, if they can afford
PPC costs.
At a minimum to get appreciable results in free traffic
you’ve got to spend a lot of time (think months, several
months) submitting your website url, articles etc to hundreds of web
directories, search engines, article directories and so on and that is
why getting free traffic takes so long
So far we’ve mentioned the obvious roadblocks to quick
traffic, other roadblocks to traffic you may not be aware of are
Using The Wrong Ad Media
If your targets are not wherever you are promoting, those on the ad
medium you’re using may not respond to your offer. Use
targeted ad media where you know your target can be found to promote
your products and services.
Selling The Wrong Product
You can’t just pick any product to sell, you must know if the
product will meet the need and want of your targets first, that is what
they will be interested in looking at and then buying
Using Ads, Content, Free Giveaways That Do Not Sell
Your ads, content, free giveaways must be able to draw your targets
attention and convert to sales in order for you to make money, if they
don’t, your targets won’t be interested in whatever
you have to sell.
On a last note (this is also one of the reason why it takes so long to
make money online, lack of targeted traffic is one, this is another
reason), getting traffic is not the same as getting the sale, even
after all you’ve done to get your targets to see/preview your
product, your targets have the final say in what they will buy and what
they won’t buy, and most of them will take their time before
buying anything, unless what they want to buy is mandatory and is not
optional.
You should track how you’re making the sale and then
capitalize on whatever is giving you the best sale for more profit; you
can do that with some help from the blueprint
