What To Do When You No Longer Get Sales From An Ad Medium

this mistake, selling without tracking your marketing efforts!
If you haven’t, good, but if you have, then you need to set
up all your ads, content and free giveaways with tracking codes that
will show you where your traffic are coming from and how much revenue
you are making from them . With your tracked data you have something to
work on, without it you’ll be dealing with too many variables
and unknowns and won’t really know where to start.
Check your tracking reports, if the drop in sales from the ad medium
appears to be sudden, you may give the ad medium about a week to know
if the drop is temporary and will pick up again, if it does not pick
up, check/do the below, if your reports show that sales has been
decreasing for a while on the ad medium, check/do the below also:
Are you still getting traffic from the ad medium?
If you are still getting traffic from it
Change the product, ad, content and free giveaway you are using on the
ad medium, it is possible your old product, ad, content and free
giveaway are no longer pulling on the ad medium or the targets on the
ad medium want something else
If you are no longer getting traffic from it
It is likely that your targets are no longer there or your ad, content
and/or free giveaway on the ad medium are no longer pulling (selling)
or the desires of the targets on the ad medium have changed
If it’s possible, ask the target on the ad medium what they
want next and then give them just that. Also check if the
product/service you sell is still unique to you, that is, someone else
has not created exactly the same product/service, or if you are an
affiliate, check if whatever you’re using as your affiliate
uniqueness in selling the product/service is not duplicated too.
To boost your sales from other avenues, use similar ad media like the
one you are analyzing and more of the top ad media that are making you
money now.
If you have not been tracking your ads, you would not have been able to
check on your ad medium as we have just done, to know which ad medium
to continue to use and the ones to drop, that is why tracking is very
important.
